Dammit, Randle, I don't want Lisa Stansfield or Madness. Should I really want one of them? If so, which cd?

btw, yes, I have every other good cd in the world.

I gotta admit, both are pretty good!
"Raw & The Cooked" is an album my brother was playing constantly back in '89, and as well as bringing back some good memories there are some great songs on it too. He had a very cool voice!

"Surfing..." is probably the best guitar instrumental album out there! They're not something I'm usually into, but Satriani always does something listenable with the added bonus of actually having a song there too! Unlike a lot of guitar instrumentalists where they're like listening to an old Spectrum computer game loading up (widdle-ee-widdle-ee)

I hate when you own so many cds, it becomes hard to find something you want.

Ya know, if those are your only choices, I say Satch. Nobody in the world should have to live with FYC in their collection.

But really man, save your pennies, go out and buy some Small Faces, and get some soul and groove in your life. If you can find it, get the Anthology.

Get FYC!!!....
Screw that Guitar Finger-Masterbator...haha
Guitar is about riffs and chords not seeing how fast one can move their fingers up and down the frets.

Spoken like a non-guitarist Raggz! Guitar is all about what the individual guitarist does and how they do it. That is why there are so many styles of GREAT guitarists out there. Satriani might be a better guitarist technically than many, but Malcom Young is the superior rythm man. They both are brilliant in different aspects. I can't stand Wingy Malmsteen, mainly due to his in-ability to write a decent song, but the guy is an amazing player.

Guitar is about what you do with the instrument, and how well you can make it sing, in all ways. It's the most perfect instrument in the world, and the only thing more beautiful than one are the people you love.

LMFAO!!!..I am a guitarist man!!! and I did get LEAD GUITAR POSITION for a band I played in in Houston...But the truth is...I'd rather be playing rhythm than all that finger-watch-how-fast-I-can-play-technique. Sure a nice solo is fine. I just think some guitarist get carried away on the whole soloing bit. It's not about how well ya can move ya fingers....it's about how well ya can grab a guitar and write a great song.
Hmmm speaking of soloing...for example...Jake E Lee...saw him in BADLANDS at a club....ummm a solo break in every song YES....a 2hr solo to every song...NO!!!
